Navigating anxiety with gentle awareness
When anxious thoughts begin to gather, our natural instinct is often to fight or suppress them. Instead, learning to acknowledge feelings without judgment creates a safe space for release. Discover practical steps to quiet an overstimulated mind, understand your emotional triggers, and restore a sense of calm reassurance to your daily routine.

Grounding techniques for everyday balance
Through sensory awareness, mindful breathing, and connecting directly with your physical surroundings, you can bring yourself back to the present moment.
5,4,3,2,1, - 5 things you can see, 4 things you can feel, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell and, 1 thing you can taste.
Box Breathing - find somewhere comfortable to sit or lay down. Once you are comfy inhale slowly for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 4 seconds, exhale slowly for 4 seconds, hold breath again for 4 seconds then repeat the steps.
Earthing is my favourite technique....go outside bare foot, step onto the grass, sand, mud (whatever is available to you) and feel the Earth beneath you. Alternatively you could sit/lay down placing your bare skin, hand or back on the ground. Research shows that spending time in nature can lower stress levels (Oschman et al., 2015).
